Tips for Use & Care of crystal glass
This Product is crystal glassware. It is not made of tempered or heat-resistant glass. A damaged Product may break or crack, causing unexpected injuries. Read the following instructions and handle with care.
Kagami Crystal glassware use & care
【Damage from sudden temperature changes】
・Sudden temperature changes (by heating or cooling)may break or crack the Product.
・Do not pour cold liquid into heated Products, or hot liquid into cold ones.
・Do not heat Products in a microwave or an oven.
・Do not wash Products in a dishwasher. Water pressure and detergents may trigger chemical reaction on the surface and tarnish them.
【Hand wash】
・Packaging of Products is not air tight. Hand wash in water with neutral detergent before using them for the first time.
・Wash Products carefully using sponge or soft cloth. Do not use abrasive sponge, wiresponge, kitchen cleaner or chlorine bleach as they may cause damage or tarnish Products.
・Use a soft brush for washing cut surface.
・Avoid putting your hand into a Product you will risk breaking it. Use a sponge with a long handle instead.
・After rinsing a Product thoroughly with warm water, place it upside down on dry cloth and before it is completely dry, wrap it in soft cloth and gently wipe off the moist. Take care not to hold its stem or base while wiping, since the stem part is especially fragile.
Scratch and damage
・Stacked Products may be broken or become stuck. Especially, never stack tumblers or any other cup-shaped glassware.
・Insert paper napkins or pieces of cloth inbetween when stacking plate or bowl Products.
・ Do not put or keep spoons, utensils, or other hard objects in Products. Do not hit or rub Products strongly. These actions may damage the Product, leading to an unexpected breakage or crack.
・Do not knock a Product against other glassware or hard objects.
